There are almost no words to describe what we have been through in 2020 as a country, and as local communities. Here we are with too many who have lost their lives, too many jobs lost, and so much uncertainty regarding what happens next. No matter which side of the spectrum you find yourself, if you are anything like me, you are at the very least troubled by all of the bad news, yet yearning to get back to some type of normal again…No doubt that this COVID 19 has brought us many changes. Our grocery stores look different, the way we go out to eat has changed, masks, gloves, and the daily retail delivery are all now part of a new norm. Two things are certain, change is coming to the Library and uncertainty is all around.
During these past couple of months, we at FE Technologies have been talking with libraries about what the “New Norm” might look like when the day comes, and working hard to develop new, and perfect current products to make this a little easier for all. Whether its products to help Curbside Check Out work more smoothly, Software Upgrades to make our Award Winning V5 Self Loan more friendly requiring zero touches, or our Anti-Microbial options for our Kiosk, we have been thinking about how to help Libraries reassure their patrons that the Library is a safe place to return. And we have even more on the way!
We would like to invite you to join us for our upcoming webinar as we introduce our latest COVID response offerings designed to help your staff and patrons feel safe when using the library. As much as we have missed being in libraries, we know that your patrons, and the members of your communities have missed you even more. We want to help you welcome them back with what we believe will be the most powerful, and simplest way to ensure Social Distance Circulation possible for FREE. Join us on Friday, May 22nd at 1PM CST, where we will be offering ALL Libraries our Librarian Rover for FREE. Learn more about this incredible product and how it will make CurbSide Checkout and Mobile Circulation simpler, and Social Distancing Circulation a real possibility.
